Natallia Pashkevich is a PhD candidate at Stockholm Business School. Her research interests target a theoretical gap within the “nano-level” of the IT Productivity Paradox discourse that is concerned with challenges to identify productivity increase in operations that are conducted with the support of IT. She has a particular interest in how IT may be used to increase productivity of information workers. The focus of her study is to provide empirical evidence for which patterns of IT-use contribute to productivity gains at the individual or task level. The study is based on the investigation of the relationship between computerisation and productivity by focusing on how IT-use can enhance information worker productivity based on the common set of information-processing tasks from both descriptive and normative research approach perspectives.

Natallia has previously carried out research in the field of Labour Economics. She has a Specialist degree in Accounting, Analysis and Audit from The Belarusian State Agricultural Academy. Before entering her PhD programme, she was employed as a teaching assistant at the Department of Accounting and Analysis at the same school. Natallia also has a Master degree in Accounting and Statistics from her Alma Mater. In 2010 she also got a Master Degree in Economics from Umeå University.
