  Hanna Hjalmarson is assistant professor at the Marketing Section of Stockholm Business School.

Hanna's main research interests are young consumers (children and adolescents) and their attitudes and behaviours in relation to advertising, PR and other forms of marketing communication. This was also the topic of her doctoral thesis. Since then, she has primarily done experimental advertising research, focusing on for example green labels, cause-related marketing, celebrity endorsers, store marketing and package design. She has also conducted a review of Nordic advertising and PR research 2000-12 for The Swedish Association of Communication Agencies, as well as a survey of previous students at the former Department of Advertising and Public Relations, Stockholm University, with a focus on job market and work satisfaction.

Hanna teaches consumer behaviour, research methods, basic statistics, introduction to advertising and PR, and advertising strategy. She has also served as director of studies for the Marketing Communications Program IHR (90 hp) years 2006-13. During the study year 2013-14, she will partly be on parental leave.
