Olov Isaksson is Assistant Professor of operations management at Stockholm Business School and holds a PhD in operations management from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. Prior to his thesis, he spent more than two years in industry, in an operations and supply chain project management capacity at Henkel (Düsseldorf, Germany) and Louis Vuitton (Paris, France).

Teaching
Olov currently teaches in the MSc program ”Operations Management and Control”

Research
Olov’s primary research interests lie in operations management and its interface with econometrics, finance and innovation management. In particular, his focus is on big data analytics, supply chain management and buyer-supplier relationships. In his previous work, he has leveraged secondary data to investigate how operational actions affect the performance of the firm and its supply chain partners.
